Children's Ministry Director - Anaheim Revive Church
This position is part-time (15-20 hours a week) and temporary with the possibility to become permanent after six months. Individuals must be self-motivated and a good administrator. There is a lot of room to make this position your own and Anaheim Revive Church can’t wait to meet the candidates!
Reporting to ARC Board of Elders, the Children's Ministry Director will lead and oversee the spiritual development and programming for children from 0-12 years old. The director will be responsible for creating a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where children can grow in the faith and understanding of Jesus. This role includes managing volunteers, coordinating events, developing curriculum, and partnering with parents to support the faith journey of young children.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Passion for children’s spiritual development and knowledge of Christ centered teaching
- Experience in children’s ministry or a related field
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to engage with both children and adults in a warm and approachable manner
- Bachelor’s degree in Christian education, ministry or a related field (preferred)
- Willingness to support Anaheim Revive Church’s Mission to love God, build His community, and reach all generations, and Vision as a Christ-centered multigenerational community equipping, empowering, and releasing each person’s extraordinary giftings, working together to fulfill God’s purposes.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive children’s ministry program, including Sunday school curriculum, special events and outreach
- Recruit, train and supervise volunteers and staff for all children’s ministry activities
- Fosters relationship with children and their families, and provide spiritual support
- Collaborate with staff and other church ministries to integrate children’s programs with overall church vision
- Budget management for the children's ministry and demonstrating fiscal accountability.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Salary package range inclusive of benefits negotiable based on experience. The position is full-time after a six-month probationary period.
