To excel as a Customer Service / Call Center Representative at Christian Community Credit Union , a robust set of skills and experiences is essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role within a bank or credit union. Cross-selling experience is crucial, as you will be guiding members in selecting the right products and services. The ability to work with computer systems is necessary for efficient documentation and reporting.
Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred, enabling you to communicate with a broader member base. Call center experience is preferred and will further enhance your ability to assist members. The ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced call center environment, combined with excellent telephone techniques, verbal and written communication skills, and a good math aptitude with accurate typing speed of 35 wpm, will set you up for success in this role. Knowledge and skills required for the position are :
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one year of experience working in a customer service position for a bank / credit union required
- Cross-selling experience required
- Minimum one year of experience dealing with the public in a call center environment preferred
- Bilingual skills (English / Spanish) and knowledge of accounting principles preferred
- Ability to work with computer systems and accurate typing at 35wpm
