JOB PURPOSE :

The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across functional areas. The Visual Merchandising Trainee supports the field Visual team by coordinating and executing a wide variety of administrative duties. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization's short and long-term objectives through day to day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results, and present a project to the Executive Leadership Team.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Partner with the field Visual team to schedule display installations, de-rigs & repairs across the US & Canada
• Oversee prop inventory movement and integrity by ensuring all items are properly cataloged at Dior's off-side storage facilities
• Partner with the warehouse(s) to coordinate shipments
• Maintain accurate tracking and cataloging of all shipments arriving via Head Quarters, including the receipt of invoicing
• Ship and track Visual samples to Paris
• Log and organize the use of VM RTW samples, including the VM prop and sample closet
• Maintain the Visual Merchandising Calendar
• Manage the Intranet through maintenance and organization of the data base to include all Dior locations floorplans, contact lists and store hours
• Post current photos of recent installations, ensuring all new store opening photos are properly cataloged
• Create master PowerPoints of all locations to facilitate the zoning of in-store displays
• Work with cross functional teams, instore and corporate, to achieve various business-related needs.
• Partner closely with the Senior VM Manager of NY Metro to ensure priorities tasks are met but also be able to pivot should urgencies arise.

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary of $20 per hour, plus potential eligibility to participate in the Company's medical benefits plan, commuter benefits, and 401k plans with employer contributions.
