Christian Medical & Dental Associations, the world’s largest faith-based organization of healthcare professionals, is seeking a 16-week Temp as a Stewardship Development Communications Specialist at CMDA’s national headquarters in Bristol, TN. The successful candidate will advance CMDA’s mission and vision by leading an integrated communications program that inspires generosity and supports the fundraising priorities of CMDA. This fundraising professional will work closely with members of the Stewardship Team to serve donors and members of CMDA.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for coordination of print and online donor communications such as direct-response fundraising appeals, gift acknowledgments, donor proposals to support efforts to retain donors and increase giving.
- Manage relationships with contract writers, designers, printers, mail centers, and other vendors to ensure timely communications.
- Maintain donor database to reduce duplicate records, record donor interactions, and manage contact information changes. Including data clean-up for monthly direct response appeals and the delivery of other communications.
- Partner with members of the Stewardship Team to facilitate communications critical for biblical tours, special events, and seasonal activities.
- Manage invoices and monthly expense reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Stewardship Development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of 4 years of formal education, training, or experience in the field of development, marketing, public relations, graphic design, or journalism.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality of sensitive materials.
- Performs assigned tasks with excellence, integrity, positivity, dedication, and responsiveness.
- Is motivated and takes the initiative to improve processes and explore new opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that reflect an ability to liaise with all stakeholders, including staff, external partners, volunteers, senior leadership, and others.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong administrative and project management skills, with the ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous tasks and deadlines.
