Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and organized Event Sales Coordinator to join our team. This 10-15 hour per week position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning, sales, and coordination within a faith-driven environment. The ideal candidate will assist in organizing and promoting events, developing sales strategies, and supporting various initiatives aimed at expanding our outreach and impact.
Responsibilities:
Event Coordination:
- Assist in planning and organizing virtual and in-person events, including workshops, seminars, and community gatherings.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and scheduling.
- Support the creation and distribution of promotional materials and event communications.
- Maintain event calendars and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Provide on-site or virtual event support, including setup, registration, and attendee assistance.
Sales Support:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote events and increase participation.
- Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential sponsors, partners, and donors.
- Support the creation of sales presentations, proposals, and other marketing materials.
- Track and report on sales and sponsorship activities, providing regular updates to the team.
- Maintain and update sales databases and contact lists.
General Support:
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
- Conduct research and analysis to support event planning and sales activities.
- Assist in managing social media accounts and updating the organization's website with event information.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

- Previous experience in event planning, sales, or customer service
