This job offers you the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life by providing assistance and relief to a primary caregiver and by working on skills to grow our clients independence.
We are seeking a dedicated respite and living skills provider for a young child. Your duties will include scheduling services with primary family caregivers/parents, providing companionship, and organizing and supervising/assisting with activities that are specific to targeting the clients goals.
To ensure success as a living skills provider, you should demonstrate experience in a similar role. Ultimately, a top-notch provider will be someone who can be relied upon to perform their duties with patience and compassion.
Responsibilities:
Providing assistance, companionship, and comfort. Engaging clients in suitable activities to meet their goals such as social skills and improving independence with hygiene as well as behaviors.
Schedule: After school 3 hour shifts. Hours available on the weekend as well.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week

- Rotating weekends
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Required)
- Working with people with disabilities: 1 year (Required)
- Daily Living Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
