What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respite Provider (part-time) position at Christian Servants Home Care?
Christian Servants Home Care, is looking for reliable care staff, to help serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities within our community,
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays 5 PM-8 PM and every other weekend from 1p-4p or 2p-5p.
Job duties include: Providing assistance, companionship, and comfort to clients. Offering temporary relief for primary caregivers.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, and/or EXPERIENCE
- Additional education or training in human services, special education, or related fields preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with individuals, families, and team members.
- Reliable transportation is required; the ability to transport individuals or provide assistance with grocery pick up/community outings is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
