Duties
- Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 1 year, supporting their early development and well-being.
- Engage infants in age-appropriate sensory, motor, and cognitive activities that encourage growth and exploration.
- Observe and document each child's developmental milestones, communicating progress and any concerns with parents and colleagues as needed.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with infants and their families, maintaining open and positive communication with parents and caregivers.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a secure and clean environment for infants.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in infant care and early childhood education.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching environment for all children in the program.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Pass a background screening
- Experience in a childcare setting
- Have a positive and reliable work ethic
- Be able to work a flexible schedule
- Have a PASSION for working with children
- Have a good and positive attitude
