The ChristianaCare Outpatient Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Full-Time (80hrs) MRI Technologist to work evening shift at our Newark Campus
Responsible for:
- Performing MRI examinations.
- Performing X-ray examinations, as necessary.
- Performing clerical duties, as necessary.
- Superior performance in Customer Service Skills
Shift Hours:
- Evenings - 2:30p-11:00p
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of ARRT registry in radiologic technology required (two-year accredited program).
- Completion of ARRT registry in MRI required (achieved within two years of hire).
- State Licensure on Radiation Protection is required.
- Completion of formal and/or on the job training on cross sectional anatomy.
- An Associate’s degree is required; candidates are required to obtain their Associates of Science degree (can be substituted within a related field), within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment.
- Certification in CPR.
- Yearly PEEPS certification required for proper and safe positioning and transfer of patients.
