Emergency Care Technician Position at Our Free-Standing Emergency Department
About the Job:
- Provide emergency care services in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with board-certified emergency physicians and nurses to deliver quality patient care.

- 18 state-of-the-art treatment rooms.
- Dedicated on-site laboratory with walk-in hours from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Advanced imaging services for prompt diagnosis and treatment.

- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS), High school graduate or equivalent, Previous work experience or completion of Patient Care Technician and/or Phlebotomist programs required.
Work Schedule:
- 72 hours per pay period.
- Seven pm to seven am shifts.
- Every third weekend (12 hour shifts on the weekends).
- CCHS holiday rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hygiene/comfort measures and selected nursing procedures under RN supervision.
- Acquire vital signs, perform EKGs, and other assigned tasks as needed.
- Respond to patient crisis situations and initiate interventions within scope of responsibilities.
