The Christiana Hospital OR Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Rad Tech to work the evening shift. This individual will also work every 4th weekend with a rotating holiday schedule
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
- Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
- Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time
- Performing clerical duties when necessary : receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties
- Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
- Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and / or Digital Radiography Systems
- Operating the following equipment : Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm
- Burn patient CD’s
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
- 3 years’ experience as a staff technologist.
- Completion of two-year program in Radiology Technology is required.
- Associates Degree in Radiology Science is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- RT Technologist experience preferred
- ARRT Registered Technologist required
- Delaware license
- Certification in CPR
- Flexibility in hours and duties is required
