Candidates are required to work together with their co teachers on completing daily activities for the classroom which include but are not limited to implementing curriculum changing diapers feeding cleaning and sanitizing. Hourly pay varies depending on experience and degree level. Range from $13 to $16/hour. Qualifications:
- Must meet basic requirements of local and state child care regulatory agency
- Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program required
- Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Job Type:
Full-time/ Monday through Friday
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Duties
- Demonstrate an understanding of the developmental stages and needs of young children and support them in a gentle and nurturing manner;
- Participate as a member of our community and teaching team in which collaboration, dialogue are essential
- Bring a willingness to learn and grow with other members of the school community by participating in staff development opportunities;
- Develop, plan, and supervise field experiences;
- Serve on committees and engage in project work outside of classroom time
- Communicate effectively with parents and make sure they aware of their child’s learning and development
- Participate in parents and school meetings
Requirements
License/Certification:
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
- Previous experience working in childcare facility (Preferred)
Nice To Haves
