Join Chromalloy as a CAD Designer/Modeler. Create / Maintain CAD models and drawings for Aerospace and Industrial gas turbine components. Participate in the development of solutions integrating technical expertise, robust problem-solving methodologies and fostering a culture of innovation improving the performance of Chromalloy.
Key Responsibilities:
Create / Modify CAD models of gas turbine components and assemblies.
Moderate knowledge of drafting standards including ASME Y14.5M.
Create / Modify CAD drawings of gas turbine components and assemblies.
Execute created tolerance studies and inspections.
On path to gain working knowledge of design intent.
On path to gain working knowledge of reverse engineering.
Education & Experience:
AA/AS degree, technical school certificate, or equivalent experience
3 plus years of experience modeling gas turbine components or similar experience.
Ability to problem-solve and foster innovation to improve performance
CAD Software: current Creo user; familiar with NX
Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
