What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker - 2nd shift position at Chromalloy?
Chromalloy New York, a leader in repair and coating of gas turbine components for the aerospace industry and heavy industrial turbines, is currently seeking Production Workers for 2nd Shift. As a Production Worker, you will need to be able to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices.
This is an hourly position with Local 475. Rate of pay is $19.99/hr to start with 10% differential for 2nd shift. After 12 months of employment rate will be $24.99/hr with 10% differential for 2nd shift.
Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
You must be able to read, write and use work instruction sheets.
Mechanical background would be helpful.
Ability to use hand tools and gauges.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
