Summary/Objective

Reporting directly to the Chrome Hearts Controller, the Global Accountant will support the accounting operations related to global accounting management for all our factory, distribution, retail, and real estate businesses.

The Global Accountant’s duties are focused on ensuring accurate and timely delivery of international accounting entries, monthly close processes, financial reporting and reconciliations in at least seven currencies. The role will also uphold internal controls/policies, and assist with financial and audit reporting.

This position is designed to support the continued expansion of Chrome Hearts, requires 5 years of proven experience, and is expected to work in-person at our HQ complex in Hollywood, CA (this is not a remote work position).

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Understanding of global business accounting including, but not limited to, domestic and international payroll, manufacturing, distribution, retail store and online retail sales, Foreign Currency (FX), and Tax Compliance

Analytical thinker, interested in researching issues and proposing solutions that resolve root cause issues. Experience with database mining tools a plus.

Effective control execution: assist with maintaining accounting policies and procedures

Streamline the overall accounting operations through workflow improvements and automations to accommodate Chrome Hearts’ scale and growth initiatives

Essential Functions

• Contribute to month end close process, creating and booking standard entries as required.
• Reconcile and record domestic and international payroll transactions, evaluating for accuracy and completeness, with a focus on improving process efficiencies
• Reconcile cash paid out with related global payroll processor records
• Conduct GL account reconciliations, verify the accuracy of data, and identify and correct errors made by internal or external stakeholders, ideally with root-cause corrections to ensure correctness and reduce future errors
• Work in conjunction with management on financial analysis related to costs and other projects as they may arise.
• Assist with year-end audit activities
• Assess current practices and procedures, make recommendations and implement best practices
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, professional accreditation such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) would be favorable, but not required
• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience
• Understanding of US GAAP
• Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of ERP (Microsoft D365 preferred) or similar financial software
• Excellent verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization
• Excellent ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize effectively
• Desire to continue professional growth through on-the-job training and mentorship
• Must have a positive attitude, confident demeanor, and be willing to tackle challenging tasks under competing deadlines. The Pay Range For This Role Is

100,000 - 110,000 USD per year(Hollywood)
