SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Reporting directly to the Chrome Hearts Director of Treasury, the Treasury Accountant will support the accounting operations concentrating on the Cash management and Treasury division for all our factory, distribution, retail, and real estate businesses.
The Treasury Accountant’s duties are focused on ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of Cash inflows and outflows of the company, including international accounting entries, monthly close processes, financial reporting and reconciliations in multiple (7 ) different currencies.
This position is designed to support the continued expansion of Chrome Hearts, requires 5 years of proven experience, and is expected to work in-person at our HQ complex in Hollywood, CA (this is not a remote work
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Strong background in accounting and a solid understanding of the treasury functions within a business. Experience with banking modules, creating wire and or ACH payments.
- Ability to perform a wide range of duties, including journal entries, account and bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and other types of treasury-related analyses.
- Analytical thinker, interested in researching and proposing solutions to resolve root cause of issues, implement controls, and streamline processes as Company continues to scale.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist the Director of Treasury with Bank reconciliations for more than 60 bank accounts monthly. These account reconciliations will include a variety of foreign currencies on a global scale.
- Contribute to the financial month end close process, including assigned journal entries, balance-sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of operational management accounts accuracy and identifying and correcting errors.
- Work with our Retail support staff ensuring cash, credit cards and wire payments are received and posted correctly within our accounting system.
- Assess current practices and procedures, make recommendations and implement best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting, business or Finance is recommended, not required.
- Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of ERP (Microsoft D365 preferred) or similar financial software
- Excellent verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization
- Excellent ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize effectively
- Desire to continue professional growth through on-the-job training and mentorship
- Must have a positive attitude, confident demeanor, and be willing to tackle challenging tasks under competing deadlines. This is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where people at all levels are expected to "roll up their sleeves" and exhibit a "can do" spirit, and see projects through to completion

The pay range for this role is:
75,000 - 85,000 USD per year(Hollywood, CA)
