Job Description
Chronicle Heritage is looking for an organized Billing Manager to join our expanding Accounting team. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Billing team. You will report directly to the Controller and collaborate closely with both the Accounting and Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely client billing while maintaining accounting records. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of handling confidential information. Additionally, you should have a demonstrated ability to coach and develop a customer service-focused billing team.
Hire Type : Full-time (salaried)
Schedule : 40 hours, Monday-Friday (flexible schedule)
Location : Hybrid - at home office and local Phoenix, AZ Office
Responsibilities
- Reconciling billing accounts to the general ledger
- Collaborate with the Controller in managing current and aged receivables balances
- Ensuring for the accuracy of invoicing to our clients
- Hiring, training and supervising billing staff
- ability to assist billing staff with preparing invoices to clients based on terms of contract, percent complete, and / or costs incurred
- Review WIP (work in progress) reports to initiate invoicing process. Track WIP as compared to invoicing on a monthly basis.
- Assist Project Manager with other project-related accounting functions that directly impact invoicing
- Manage production of billing team
- Audit invoicing for accuracy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
