The Vice President will lead a team of Regional Principals, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and excellence across offices within their region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive regional performance by setting and achieving targets for revenue, project-level gross margin, bookings, utilization, safety metrics, and gross profit.
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to Regional Principals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement regional strategies to enhance business growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Foster a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and promoting best practices across projects.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align regional operations with the company’s overall strategic objectives.
- Manage resource allocation effectively to optimize productivity and project delivery.
- Support business development initiatives by contributing to client relationship management, proposal development, and strategic partnerships.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, promoting professional growth and succession planning.
- Ensure operational risks are identified early, assessed, and mitigated appropriately.
- Advanced degree in anthropology, archaeology, architectural history, history or a closely related field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations within the cultural resources management or professional services industry.
- Experience serving as a Project Manager and Principal Investigator on survey, testing, and data recovery projects
- Experience as a Team Lead, Office Principal, or leading multiple teams simultaneously
- Proven track record of driving operational performance, meeting financial targets, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills with experience in mentoring and developing leaders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in project management.
