Overview
Chrysalis House is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance and Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in general maintenance. This role requires a proactive approach to facility management, with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and performance.
The Chrysalis House Facilities Manager performs and/or ensures the maintenance of all Chrysalis House facilities, conducts oversight of vendors and service providers related to facility operations and upkeep, ensures preventative maintenance functions are completed timely, and purchases all maintenance supplies and materials related to the operation and maintenance of Chrysalis House facilities.
Essential Functions:
Property and Facilities Services
1. Maintain and manage vendor for all HVAC and lighting services.
2. Maintain and manage landscaping and lawn care vendor.
3. Provide plumbing maintenance and troubleshooting.
4. Monitor parking lots including lighting, signage, pavement, and curb markings.
5. Manage pest control.
6. Provide general building maintenance, which includes interior signage, light bulbs and fixtures, interior and exterior painting, and cleaning of carpet/floors.
7. Manage waste removal and containers.
8. Manage interior plants and decorations.
9. Manage schedule and satisfaction of shredding services.
10. Manage vendor for elevator repairs and maintenance.
11. Interior and exterior signage installation and maintenance.
Security
1. Oversee security and access systems.
2. Maintain control of building keys.
Safety/Compliance and Inspections
1. Conduct/participate in all inspections for facilities.
2. Manage fire alarm vendor.
3. Monitor current certified fire extinguishers.
4. Management of compliance to city and county ordinances.
5. Ensure compliance with ADA, OSHA, and NFPA standards and regulatory standards.
6. Conduct monthly vehicle safety and equipment inspections.
7. Schedule vehicle maintenance and repairs as needed.
Project Management/Build Outs/Construction
1. Assist with scheduling the delivery of furniture and other large deliveries.
2. Project management, i.e., build outs, new space construction, moves, and re-arrangements.
Departmental Needs/Promotional Events
1. Assist in arranging and planning large meeting/fundraising events including transporting supplies, setting up and taking down event furniture and other items, arranging audio/visual equipment, and other duties as needed.
2. Assist all departments to ensure maintenance/facilities needs are met timely.
3. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
