Job Summary:
As a Mopar Certified Diesel Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain Cummins and EcoDiesel engines in Ram trucks and other Mopar diesel vehicles. You will work with advanced diagnostic tools, collaborate with service advisors and technicians, and ensure all repairs meet factory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair Cummins and EcoDiesel engines, fuel systems, emissions, and drivability concerns.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and exhaust after-treatment systems.
- Utilize Chrysler wiTECH scan tools and follow manufacturer guidelines for diagnostics and repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed to OEM specifications and dealership quality standards.
- Complete and document all repair orders efficiently and accurately.
- Stay current with Mopar diesel training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following dealership and manufacturer safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Mopar Diesel Certification (Must be current or willing to complete training).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of diesel technician experience in a dealership or independent shop.
- ASE Certifications (preferred but not required).
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with diesel engines and emissions systems.
- Experience using factory scan tools (wiTECH, Cummins Insite, etc.).
- Must have own set of tools; specialty tools provided by the dealership.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
