They currently boast a staff of 8 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers, who are supported by dedicated clinical and administrative team members, as well as visiting specialists. Being affiliated with a local hospital, they have easy access to services for laboratory, pharmacy, x-ray, EKG, minor surgical procedures, and more. They are currently hiring due to the exciting opening of their new mobile unit, allowing them to further expand their reach and provide high-quality primary care services to residents in their rural communities who may struggle accessing in-office healthcare services. POSITION DESCRIPTION : This is a primary care position in a mobile health unit, seeing patients of all ages (no newborns or infants), with an emphasis on adult care. The mobile unit is a brand new, custom built “clinic on wheels” and the practice is excited to debut it to the community, particularly for those in rural areas who may have trouble accessing on-site healthcare. The mobile unit has a dedicated driver and is a 40-foot vehicle that runs on solar power. It is equipped with : - exam room - telehealth capabilities - imaging equipment The mobile unit will serve a 25-mile geographic area encompassing the Wickenburg and Congress communities. The new provider will see an average of 22 patients per day, with administrative time built into the schedule. They will work with a dedicated medical assistant who is present at all times. All work is within the area of standard primary care : - annual check-ups - physicals - chronic disease management - sick visits The practice uses a supported EHR system.
