Job Description : SUMMARY :
Delivers exceptional guest experience through their team's efforts, according to policies and procedures. Takes proactive and reactive measures to prevent or resolve guest service failures, and assists in guest service recovery. Supervise, support and coordinate hospitality team members to deliver exceptional service and product quality. This position intended to host a candidate for up to 1 year. At the discretion of the Hospitality Director, this period may be extended.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :
- Ensure that all guests receive a warm welcome and prompt service.
- Train and certify the hospitality team members to deliver excellent service standards.
- Accurately handle credit card, cash routing and other transactions types according to policy and procedures.
- Understand, follow, perform and enforce the service standards, policies and procures of the assigned hospitality area.
- Function well and excel under pressure.
- Deescalate and resolve conflict.
- Support and supervise team members.
- Recognize, coach, counsel, discipline and / or terminate team members with mentor guidance.
- Complies and enforces all safety rules and standards.
- Interacts positively and appropriately with the Public and Team Members.
- Protect company assets.
- Display superb business ethics.
- Learn about local attractions and assist guest effectively.
- Develop strategies to advance guest service and improve revenue and revenue streams.
- Maximizes profitability.
- Report suspicious activity.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and huddle sessions to convey and certify important information.
- Performs other reasonable task assigned by superior.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Directly supervises the activities of Team Members in assigned Hospitality area.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the department and organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems with support from their mentor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS :
Must possess effective communication and organization skills. Displays Hospitality Attitude. Aptitude and willingness to lead and mentor a team. Professional appearance and demeanor. Flexible and adaptable with schedule and process.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Ability to read and understand financial reports, policy and procedures manuals, and technical instructions. Ability to respond professionally to common inquiries or complaints.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Successful passes the Hospitality math competence test.
REASONING ABILITY :
Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of hospitality situations. Displays high quality emotional intelligence, empathy, and interpersonal skills. Displays aptitude and critical thinking to solve problems.
