Warehouse Associates must ensure that inventory is accurately tracked and that products are prepared and shipped to customers on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and Storing Inventory: Accept and check incoming deliveries, ensuring that products match the order and are free of damage. Organize products within the warehouse in an efficient manner. Tag or staged in Receiving area.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare all freight and small parcel orders for shipment based on customer requests or schedules.
- Inventory Management: Consolidate, Track inventory levels, restock items, and perform periodic cycle counts or physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records.
- Shipping: Prepare shipments by labeling, securely stacking and wrapping items for transport. Ensure that shipments meet all shipping and safety regulations.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Ensure that items are stored correctly to prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures, ensuring that all safety equipment is used correctly, and work areas are clean and hazard-free.
