We are a team of 22-30 dedicated gardeners, masons, and landscape designers who construct and maintain innovative landscapes for our customers. We are currently seeking a Gardening Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our client properties. Reporting to the Gardening Foreman, you will be part of a dedicated crew, working on a variety of gardening maintenance and installation projects. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, and we are looking for individuals who share our passion for creating beautiful landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality gardening and horticultural care at client properties.
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including rototillers, wheelbarrows, saws, pruners, shovels, and edgers.
- Drive trucks and trailers assigned to the gardening crew.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required for gardening and maintenance tasks.
- Perform regular inspections, lubrication, and cleaning of tools and equipment to ensure their optimal performance.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work site at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience in the horticulture/landscape industry.
- Proficiency in operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required for various landscape/horticulture practices.
Compensation
The wage for this position ranges from $19-$22/hr.
