Scheduled Work Times/Location
- Weekly Hours: Part – Time
- Hours: Friday4:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Location: Avery Heights, Hartford, CT
Essential Job Functions:
- Serve meals to residents in the dining room.
- Deliver meals to resident apartments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary dining environment.
- Ensure the dining area is attractive and welcoming.
- Provide a fine dining experience for residents.
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
- Address resident needs and requests promptly and courteously.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Honest, dependable, and exhibits a warm, cheerful, and caring manner.
- Ability to safely perform essential job functions.
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a full-service establishment required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Standing and Walking: The server will be required to stand and walk for extended periods during their shift, including moving between the dining room, kitchen area, and resident apartments.
- Lifting and Carrying: The server must be able to lift and carry trays, dishes, and other items weighing up to 25 pounds.Bending and Reaching: The server will need to bend, reach, and stoop frequently to serve meals, clean tables, and perform other tasks.
