Job Description
JOB TITLE
- Broken Arrow Associate Director of Groups and Outreach
MUST DO’S
- Oversee the ministries and teams of Groups and Outreach while building a culture of discipleship through learning, community, and practice environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, develop, and coach lay leaders for Small Groups, Midsize Groups, Outreach, and Story Time by building relationships with them, caring for them, and creating the conditions for leadership growth.
- Lead, develop, and care for the Groups and Outreach volunteer teams.
- Collaborate with the Discipleship and Spiritual Formation teams to build Midsize Group offerings each semester for the Broken Arrow Church.
- Oversee Small and Midsize Group initiatives and collaborate with Brotherhood and Daughters ministry leaders to ensure alignment across community ministries.
- Oversee the Re|Engage Ministry and actively recruit and train leaders to help facilitate groups and gatherings.
- Oversee the strategy for Outreach, ensuring alignment with vision for Outreach partnerships, serve groups, First Saturday Serve, etc.
- Oversee all Love Day initiatives, partnering with ministry and support teams, organizations, other churches, lay leaders, and volunteers.
- Oversee the Story Time and Homework Helpers ministry, keeping the program and teams connected to vision.
- Contribute to the pastoral care process at the Broken Arrow Church, including helping with funerals, weddings, and other care needs as they arise.

WORK SCHEDULE
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Nights and weekends required
