JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Assistant Director of Outreach who will play a crucial role in expanding our reach and impact within the Tulsa community and abroad. As the Assistant Director of Outreach, you will collaborate with the Director of Outreach to develop and implement strategic initiatives that foster engagement and build strong relationships with our local partners as well as developing new opportunities to love on all of God’s people, in all seasons of life.

POSITION SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist with the communication and maintaining of healthy relationships with both our local partners of BattleCreek partners to serve the Tulsa community.
- Assist the Director of Outreach in the planning and execution of internal missions trips. Some travel required.
- Assist in the processing of benevolence applications and requests
- Manage all aspects of the CarePortal outreach to meet the needs of the Tulsa community.
- Communicate with, train, and equip our CarePortal teams (response teams, volunteers, campus leaders).
- Perform other church duties as assigned by Director of Outreach to help all people of all ages all the time advance in their journey with Christ
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required
- Experience working in the non-profit sector, specifically in missions and outreach, is a plus
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally is required, 30% travel.
- Ability to navigate working with teams from various countries and cultures
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position operates both in a professional office environment and in an offsite capacity. May require the following physical demands: general lifting of materials up to 20 pounds, bending kneeling, carrying, walking, and using hands/fingers to handle items.
