- Demonstrates regular, reliable and punctual attendance.
- Delivers and picks up documents from various locations; runs errands as needed for the department or county.
- Establishes and maintains office files; researches and compiles information from such files; purges files as required.
- Opens and distributes mail, processes outgoing mail; photocopies documents for staff.
- Enters, edits and retrieves data and prepares reports, using a computer system and following established formats and menus; scans documents into a computer system.
- Acts as receptionist, as directed, and receives and screens visitors and telephone calls and takes messages; provides basic factual information regarding County or departmental activities and functions.
- Cleans office areas, kitchen areas, department vehicles, etc. as directed; organizes storage areas.
- Operates standard office equipment, including word processors, computers, scanners, facsimile equipment and central telephones; may operate microfilm, radio telephone and other departmental-specific equipment after training.
- Represents the County with dignity, integrity, and a spirit of cooperation in all relationships with staff and the public.

- Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation.
