SUMMARY:
The Integration Specialist is responsible for supporting integrations between enterprise business and financial software solutions and systems. This role involves monitoring, developing, designing, configuring, and supporting integration solutions across various business systems, including ERP, Procurement, and HR systems. The position requires close collaboration with vendors, corporate and property IT teams, project stakeholders, business leaders, and end users to ensure enterprise application interoperability and support. In this role, you will actively participate in meetings to discuss projects, new software integration requirements or implementations, planning, training, and operational needs. This individual plays a key role in the integration and continuous development of process automation, working closely with external vendors and internal IT teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Research, test, build, and coordinate new product integrations per business and IT requirements.
- Create and manage API development and event-driven architecture to enable cross-system integration scenarios.
- Facilitate seamless data mapping and data management across business solutions for accurate reporting and transactions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for integration scenarios and integration landscape.
- Conduct technical testing and rollout of customizations, custom objects, new enhancements, and update/releases relevant to system integrations based on user/business needs.
- Manage user defect/issue reporting queues and work in various integration platforms to determine the root cause and resolution of the defect/issue.
- Ability to effectively communicate, clearly define and create detailed documentation to describe complex business processes and technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Function as a liaison between business leaders and IT to communicate priorities, while managing technical integration requirements for enterprise and financial applications.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the capability of developing & configuring features in software with minimal definition or instruction.
- Ensure application integration solutions adhere to audit requirements and highest level of security compliance practices in accordance with CDI standards.
- Promote continuous improvement and assess effectiveness of integrations and systems using process analysis and automation.
- Create and maintain documentation, technical guides, user acceptance testing scripts and project status updates.
- Perform unit, integration, and regression tests and document results.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate objectives.
- Other duties as required.
REGULATORY:
Ability to obtain racing and/or gaming licenses as required in any jurisdiction where CDI operates. The Gaming industry is highly regulated and as such demands an extensive background check to obtain a license. Must be 21 years of age or older.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline and 2 years of related work experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- SAP platform architecture and middleware experience highly preferred, from low-code to high-code using SAP Integration Suite (PO, CPI)
- Experience in software development, architecture, and integration
- Technical experience with coding and development tools (Groovy, JavaScript, Node.JS, ABAP a plus)
- Detailed knowledge of integration technology and security protocols (SOAP/REST APIs, ODATA, HTTP, JSON/XML)
- Familiarity with common software development platforms, database management systems (SAP, SQL, etc.), and reporting packages.
- Strong business and financial systems understanding
