SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to lead the engineering and management of security initiatives, evaluate and implement new systems, and collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure compliance with information security policies, procedures, and best practices. In this role, you will play a crucial part in protecting our network security systems and infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data, applications, and systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, Implement and manage firewall security rules and IPS policy in accordance with company standards
- Manage and resolve various incidents identified by security tools or processes
- Perform log analysis and troubleshoot issues with other internal teams
- Create and maintain documentation of relevant security systems, processes, and infrastructure
- Manage and maintain DNS security posture and policy
- Analyze Security threats and propose countermeasures
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a combination of education and relevant experience required.
- 1 year experience implementing, managing, and securing Palo Alto firewalls
- 2 years of experience in managing, or securing network infrastructure
- Desired certification in one or more of the following:
- Palo Alto (PCNSA, PCSFE, PCNSE, PCSAE)
- Cisco (CCNA)
- Fortinet (NSE)
- ISC2 (CISSP)
- Strong knowledge of zone-based firewalls and associated mechanisms for managing firewall security policy, posture, and IPS at scale (Palo Alto preferred)
- Working knowledge of SIEM solutions (Splunk Preferred)
- Experience in collecting and analyzing packet captures, including and understanding TCP/IP protocols and operations
- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- DNS security
- Network Access Controls (NAC)
- Best practice secure network design and infrastructure
- Zero Trust (ZTNA)
SKILLS and ATTRIBUTES:
- Proficient project management skills and ability to work and lead cross-functional teams
- Problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills to identify and address security issues or concerns
REGULATORY:
Ability to obtain racing and/or gaming licenses as required in any jurisdiction where CDI operates. The Gaming industry is highly regulated and as such demands an extensive background check to obtain a license. Must be 21 years of age or older.
