Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled NYS certified, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a privately-owned Family Medicine practice. This position requires a strong background in primary care, diagnostic evaluation, and an understanding of patients through the Lifespan. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with medical staff to interpret medical imaging results and integrate findings into patient care plans.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Stay updated on current medical practices, physiology knowledge, and advancements in healthcare.
Experience
- Previous experience in an inpatient, hospital, or medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Family Medicine is advantageous.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and medical imaging processes is essential.
- Proven ability to apply aseptic techniques in clinical settings.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
