What you'll be doing
The Receptionist is responsible for performing clerical tasks within an office setting to support daily operations.
How you'll succeed
Welcome and greet visitors in a warm and friendly manner and answer any questions visitors have.
Effectively answer and direct phone calls to the correct department
Book Rooms via Outlook
Order food and set up when necessary
Direct visitors to the correct meeting rooms
Respond to all customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner.
Maintain and stock the reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received.
Receive deliveries
Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed.
Maintain the general office filing system.
Perform other administrative duties as required to support the mission and function of the company.
Provide additional support to administrative staff as needed.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $50K - $60K for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
