We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst with strong experience in digital commerce, eCommerce applications, and / or travel and tourism industry projects. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving business initiatives, defining requirements, and guiding teams through the development lifecycle to deliver impactful technology solutions.

Job Description :

This position will act as an interface between business partners and technology teams. Responsible for developing strategies, gathering demand, translating that demand into high-level scope (User Stories) and requirements documents (Acceptance Criteria, Functional Requirements, and Non-Functional Requirements to name a few), and tracking that demand through the funding lifecycle while maintaining alignment with the business initiatives and supporting technologies.

Responsibilities :

This Lead Business Analyst position works with the Technology team and defines business requirements and business processes that Technology can use to design and develop solutions for large projects. The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for data mapping and analysis, user story development, gap analysis, risk mitigation, stakeholder analysis, managing project backlog and user acceptance testing.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years business / systems analyst experience or equivalent
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strategic thinker who also pays attention to detail
• Demonstrated strong partnering, negotiating and consensus building skills
• Demonstrated strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills as well as facilitation experience
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis on large projects or varying project types
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and acceptance criteria for agile projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Agile Methodologies including the writing of user stories, acceptance criteria, elicitation, and documentation and managing requirements over the software development life cycle.
• Experienced in SCRUM / KANBAN / LEAN, and project planning at a sprint and iteration level
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic office productivity software and tools (MS Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)
