Job Responsibilities
This position involves setting up and operating powered or manual woodworking machines. You will also be responsible for examining raw wood stock for defects and ensuring conformity to size and specification standards.
Your duties will include examining finished work pieces for smoothness, shape, angle, depth-of-cut, or conformity to specifications and verifying dimensions using hands, rules, calipers, templates, or gauges.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in manufacturing, construction, carpentry, framing, roofing, or assembly.
