Cibes|Symmetry is currently recruiting for Woodworkers at our Roanoke, IL Facility.

This is a 1st shift position: 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays for a few hours depending on our workload.

JOB DESSCRIPTION

Ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude and have experience in manufacturing, construction, carpentry, framing, roofing, or assembly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Determines product specifications and materials, work methods, and machine setup requirements, according to blueprints, drawings, or work orders* Sets up and operates powered or manual woodworking machines, such as drill presses, table saws, panel saws, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, or wood-nailing machines*Examines raw wood stock for defects and to ensure conformity to size and other specification standards
* Examines finished work pieces for smoothness, shape, angle, depth-of-cut, or conformity to specifications and verify dimensions, visually and using hands, rules, calipers, templates, or gauges
*Changes alignment and adjustment of sanding, cutting, or boring machine guides to prevent defects in finished products, using hand tools
* Feeds stock through feed mechanisms or conveyors into planing, shaping, boring, sanding machines, or table machines to produce desired components
* Cleans or maintains products, machines, or work areas
* Lubes, greases or oils woodworking machines* Operates gluing guns, machines, hammers, or screw guns
; and nails or screws to press, affix, or assemble work pieces* Performs all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures* Maintains a clean, safe work area free of foreign materials

DESIRED JOB SKILLS:

• woodworking or cabinet making experience
• Pay based on experience

Pay depending on experience.
