We are seeking a talented Electrical Mechanic with a solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be able to diagnose and resolve issues related to packaging machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in packaging machinery
- Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, motors, and mechanical components
- Conduct preventative maintenance on packaging equipment to ensure minimal downtime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and machine manuals
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
- Communicate effectively in English; Spanish language skills are a plus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Mechanic or similar role with mechanical and electrical expertise
- Strong understanding of packaging machinery and how to troubleshoot and repair it
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are a plus
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical mechanics (preferred)
