Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Scheduling Supervisor at Cibo Vita in Totowa, NJ. The Production Scheduling Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production planning, ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Scheduling and PO Management:
- Monitor daily purchase order (PO) shipping and ensure all weekend POs are prepared for fulfillment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain an efficient and accurate production schedule.
Work Order and Documentation Oversight:
- Track and address issues with work orders, batch records, and Bills of Materials (BOM) through systems such as Fishbowl.
- Ensure all production documentation is accurate and up-to-date to support seamless operations.
Planning and Order Confirmation (OC) Updates:
- Maintain and update Order Confirmations (OC) to ensure alignment with production planning.
- Work closely with the planning department to adjust schedules as necessary to meet demand.
Yield and Production Tracking:
- Collect and manage yield reports from all production lines, analyzing data for efficiency and accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies or issues that prevent production from meeting targets to appropriate teams.
Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular inventory checks and audits for financial reporting purposes, maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with finance to ensure alignment between inventory and financial reports.
Equipment and Movement Monitoring:
- Monitor machine locations and identify any errors in movement to optimize production flow.
- Generate movement reports to track and analyze production efficiency.
Cross-functional Communication and Issue Reporting:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for production-related issues, escalating any delays or disruptions to the appropriate departments.
- Ensure transparent communication with cross-functional teams to support overall production goals.
