Job Summary
This temporary position is responsible for providing administrative support to the DWI Coordinator and the Compliance Officers to assist with and facilitate progress towards the DWI Programs’ future goals. The incumbent will perform daily clerical work and support assigned staff with department projects, data entry and management, administering client random urinalysis tests, and other general office duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate is experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and director support related tasks and is able to work independently with minimal supervision. This person must be well organized, flexible, and able to uphold the mission and values of the DWI Program in every aspect of the work.
The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with internal and external stakeholders while remaining adaptable, proactive, resourceful, and efficient is crucial to this role.
Work Environment
Work is routinely performed under typical office conditions. Occasional travel by car is necessary. The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet. Work is subject to frequent fluctuations and is often performed in stressful situations.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED that is equivalent to the standards of the NM Public of education Department and recognized by the said department as an accredited diploma or GED.
Basic knowledge of computer software packages
May not have a DWI or DUI charges within the last 5 years.
Must be bondable.
Valid New Mexico Driver’s license.
Pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background investigation.
Effective communication skills and be able to write clearly and informatively, listen and get
clarification, respond well to questions.
Able to organize and prioritize work, use of time efficiently.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
