ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

The Accounts Payable Representative will be assigned their immediate duties relative to accounts payable processes and serve as backup for others.

SUMMARY DUTIES

  • Review payment request for accuracy of payment documents and account codes.
  • Enter payables, process payments, prepare payables w / backup for signature and mailing.
  • Maintain and file payable documents.
  • Proactively request invoices / supporting documentation not submitted with payment requests.
  • Process and prepare employee reimbursements.
  • Maintain and track all credit card accounts, transactions and documentation.
  • Coordinate with Fiscal team members on proper posting dates of transactions to ensure that general ledger and financial reporting are accurate.
  • Assist with preparation of annual audit.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE One to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred.
