What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUD Counselor position at Cielo Treatment Center LLC?
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide direct clinical services, including bio-psycho-social assessments, individual counseling, group counseling, treatment planning, and case management for clients.
· Coordinate family sessions with the client and designated support people.
· Collaborate with professionals both within and outside the facility, as appropriate.
· Carries caseload and provides weekly individual therapy as well as crisis management for each of the assigned clients.
· Maintain accurate, thoroughly documented client records with a quality of documentation that meets facility and licensing standards.
· Send in timely reports to both insurance companies and outside agencies.
· Collaborate with both the Clinical Team and client’s Recovery Mentors to develop appropriate aftercare and discharge plan.
· Ability to work in a team environment and attend daily clinical team meetings to ensure best client care.
· Attend general staff meetings.
· Abide by codes of law and ethics set forth by HIPAA, 42CFR parts 1 and 2, MHACBO, Oregon Administrative Rules, and Policies and Procedures of Cielo Treatment Center.

· Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences including LGBTQ , racial, ethnic, socio-economic, and disabilities.
· Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Experience in addiction and dual diagnoses.
· Experience working with adults, couples and families who struggle with substance- abuse.
· Knowledge of the 12 Steps, Mindfulness, Dharma, Wellbriety, and Holistic Attitudes.
Salary : $49,920 - $62,400
