The Business Office Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office functions, including managing accounts receivable, processing claims, and communicating with patients and their families regarding payment for services.
Some key responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing the facility's accounts receivable system, including recording daily collections and depositing funds to the appropriate accounts
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication with patients and family members regarding payment for services
- Generating timely billing of all payer classes for claims generated by the facility
- Reviewing Medicare, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid claims, as well as processing Medicaid applications and closing Resident Trust accounts in a timely manner
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in A/R capacity in the long-term care setting. Knowledge of PCC is helpful, but not required.
