Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across various roles within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for identifying quality candidates, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional candidate experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and team members.
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process from job posting to offer acceptance.
- Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates for current and future opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent sources.
- Stay updated on industry trends and recruitment best practices to ensure effective hiring strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role in recruiting.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and techniques.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- 4-year Experience in recruitment.
- Marine industry experience required.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Bilingual.
