The Maintenance and Automation Engineer Senior Manager (Automation Engineer Senior Manager) oversee a multi-craft team to deploy root cause analysis and problem-solving methods to troubleshoot and resolve automated equipment issues and delegate tasks to supervisors.
This position will work closely with the senior leadership and the site operations team.
This position will also engage the site and corporate cross-functional teams as required for problem resolution or continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse team of skilled employees including but not limited to Electro-Mechanical Technicians, Pharmacy Automation Engineers, Application Support Engineers, and Contract workers.
- Develop, analyze, and manage plans, budgets, and deliverables for assigned site functional areas.
This includes Labor, Travel, and Repair and Maintenance Budgets.
Develop, define, and implement process improvements.
This includes off shift and weekend escalation.
Monitor and enhance responsiveness and effectiveness.
Provide mentoring, motivation, and guidance to all levels.
Offer timely feedback based on expectations.
Handle escalated employee issues.
Actively engage in strategies to increase employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction
Must be able to work flexible schedule due to the operational hours of the pharmacy.
