🧪 About the Role
We are currently seeking a DeltaV Automation Engineer to join a project team supporting a major biopharma client in Providence, RI. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, with a strong emphasis on control system configuration, batch logic programming, and cross-functional project execution in a regulated manufacturing environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy Emerson DeltaV control systems, including batch processing
- Develop and troubleshoot automation code to meet process and operational requirements
- Lead or contribute to the development of functional specifications, control narratives, and design documentation
- Participate in project planning and execution, coordinating with stakeholders across automation, process, IT, and QA
- Support system testing, change implementation, and integration with MES / SCADA platforms
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality procedures
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV (configuration, scripting, deployment)
- Proven background in process automation within pharma, biotech, or industrial sectors
- Familiarity with ISA-88, S88 batch programming, and control logic design
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting project lifecycle execution
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Bonus: exposure to SCADA/MES integration or project leadership
