POSITION TITLE: Human Resource Coordinator FLSA Status: Non- Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this position the Human Resources Coordinator will support the Human Resources Department in the sign industry. They will be responsible for all HRIS updates for the entire employee lifecycle. This position will help with recruiting, payroll and other HR processes. The HR coordinator will have excellent administrative and IT skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be responsible for entering and updating all employee information into the Paylocity HRIS system. This includes setting up candidate interviews, phone screens, onboarding, terminating employees as well as changes in payroll, benefits or employee information.
- Responds to employee and applicant inquiries and prepares correspondence and reports.
- Be responsible for creating packets for onboarding and benefit review.
- Be responsible for the creation, maintenance and disposal of personnel and candidate related files and I9’s.
- Assist with timecard review, and payroll processing
- Help with interviewing and job fairs.
- Be part of the safety team to understand and contribute to the safety culture of Cima
- Help with assorted Human Resource tasks and other duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a HR related field preferred.
- Any type of Human Resources certification a plus
- 1-2 years’ Human Resources experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems, Paylocity preferred
- Have a deep understanding of managing conflict, effective at scheduling, and knowledgeable of the recruiting process.
- Effective HR Administration and people management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle pressure situations and tight deadlines
- Work in fast paced environment
- Detail oriented and very organized.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
