Cimarron is seeking a Fluids Test Maintenance Engineer to support the Boeing CST-100 Starliner program at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
This full-time/benefited position with Cimarron (including PTO, 401(k), and insurance) is expected to last at least 10 months, with the possibility of an extension.

Key Duties
- Develop maintenance planning for pneumatic system ground support equipment (GSE).
- Author and release 20 GSE maintenance procedures for refrigerant, high-pressure pneumatic, oxygen, and hypergolic equipment.
- Support the operation and maintenance of spacecraft test and GSE systems, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and optimize fluid system performance.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education :
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- This is a sensitive/safety-sensitive position and is subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing.
- 5 or more years as a user, designer, or maintainer of fluid ground support equipment.
- 10 or more years of related experience.
- Experience developing schedules and 20 detailed procedures to perform periodic maintenance on a variety of fluids ground support equipment.
- Highly familiar with the operation and maintenance considerations for fluids ground support equipment including:
- Ground Cooling Units, high-pressure gas delivery systems, vacuum systems, and hypergolic propellant loading equipment
- Previous experience working with spacecraft fluid system commodities, including gaseous helium, oxygen, refrigerants, and coolants.
- Strong procedure authoring and organizational skills.
- Experience in spacecraft test engineering or GSE engineering.
- Deep understanding of pneumatic system GSE development, operation, and maintenance.
- Strong technical writing skills for developing detailed maintenance procedures.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 15 or more years of related experience.
- Previous experience working with hypergols and associated ground support equipment.
- Master's degree.
