Required Skills, Experience, And Education
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- This is a sensitive/safety-sensitive position and is subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing.
- 5 or more years of test engineering experience on spacecraft.
- Experience in spacecraft test engineering.
- Strong background in leak checking and high-pressure system operations.
- Hands-on experience with hypergolic propellants and related safety practices.
- Experience developing and executing procedures for leak checks and performing functional testing of spacecraft hypergolic propellant systems.
- Ability to operate high-pressure pneumatic equipment, including pressurized flight hardware.
- Experience as a testing Task Lead for technicians, QA team members, and other test engineers.
- Possesses the strong troubleshooting capabilities required to document and resolve non-conformances on both ground support equipment and flight hardware.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Previous experience supporting human spaceflight or spacecraft propulsion systems.
- Previous experience loading or working on systems previously wetted with hypergolic propellants.
- Master's degree.
