Maintenance Technician

Cimarron is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Chantilly, VA. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our facilities and equipment.

Key Duties:

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and facility issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete repairs and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and keep inventory of supplies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
• 1 or more years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Proven experience in carpentry, including repairs and installations.
• Skilled in painting, including surface preparation and finishing techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner.
• Good understanding of safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Active Secret Clearance or higher.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or related maintenance certification.
