As a Drafter at Cimarron Energy, you will play a vital role in supporting the design and production of equipment for the oil and gas industry. You will assist in making modifications to existing drawings, modeling basic parts, and ensuring accurate shop drawings for the fabrication team. If you're passionate about detail-oriented work, have a mechanical aptitude, and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Make minor changes to drawings, including models and Bill of Materials.
- Model basic parts and assist in preparing drawings and files for the production team.
- Assist in maintaining and archiving model and drawing files.
- Maintain an Excel worksheet of parts for easy tracking.
- Update title blocks and borders on drawing packages.
- Work closely with Sr Drafters to incorporate drawing changes and updates.
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent in CAD.
- 2 years of experience using Autodesk Inventor. AutoCAD and CADWorx a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of basic piping practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PDF creation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Willingness and ability to learn new design and engineering methods.
- Strong time management skills and ability to document work accurately.
