Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems and be capable of overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations. This role requires someone who can read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics, while also being actively involved in troubleshooting and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership and Supervision:
• Supervise, guide, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians (mechanical and electrical).
• Delegate tasks effectively based on technician skill levels and project needs.
• Ensure the team adheres to all safety protocols and maintains high standards of work.
• Provide ongoing training and development to maintenance personnel to enhance team skills and performance.
• Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and plant operations.
• Maintenance Management:
• Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure that preventive maintenance schedules are followed and updated regularly.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve equipment issues and improve overall system reliability.
• Technical Expertise:
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to guide troubleshooting and repairs.
• Provide hands-on support in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement for necessary equipment and supplies.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Implement and enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety measures during maintenance work.
• Participate in safety audits, inspections, and accident investigations.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance procedures and reduce downtime.
• Work with management to develop and implement maintenance strategies and upgrades.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to recommend improvements to equipment and processes.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong hands-on skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and blueprints.
• Leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• High school diploma (Associate’s degree preferred); relevant certifications are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
